A Message from Sheriff Davis

The Office of Sheriff is one of the oldest and most important offices in our country’s system of law and justice. Our founding fathers made it an elected office so that the Sheriff would be accountable to the citizens he serves.

I consider it an honor and a privilege to serve as the Sheriff of Henderson County. I am blessed with a professional and motivated staff that cares about your safety and well-being.

Our Sheriff’s Office will strive to provide the most effective law enforcement services in North Carolina. We will deliver exemplary service by means of an agency that is fully integrated internally and responsive to our community externally. We will deliver reliable and professional assistance of the highest quality to all citizens in order to maintain and improve their quality of life. We will implement strategies to prevent and reduce crime and to enhance public safety.

Finally, I want to thank each of you for the support you give to the men and women of the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office. We cannot do our jobs effectively without your help. When citizens and law enforcement unite with a shared vision for our community, I am confident we can make a difference.
